FitFlops Hybrid Sandals
“IT’S THE FLIP FLOP WITH THE GYM BUILT-IN”
“Developed by David Cook at the Centre for the Human Performance at LSBU in London, FitFlop sandals feature patent-pending microwobble board technology that works your leg and bottom muscles more while you wear them, making it easier for you to stay in shape.”
Fit-Flops are “hybrid shoes” that work your butt and legs
I was disappointed by how they looked upon actual inspection — they look so big in relation to your foot size (even if they fit your foot perfectly) and the colors aren’t as pretty as pictured. But they’re not ugly.
FitFlops are supposed to trim your legs, increase *gluteal* muscle response, improve your balance and posture, burn calories…
Four stars out of five. Available at Macy’s ~
FitFlops are thick-soled flip-flops. They look so good in the ads but they’re not as pretty as in the pictures. Regardless of size, they will look big in relation to your foot and the colors aren’t as crisp as photographed.
They were designed to tone your gluteus maxiumus and rectus femoris while walking. Comfortable enough for casual use — the soles are thick and the material has the right balance of softness / firmness. I wouldn’t recommend them as a fashion item, but they’re definitely an improvement over rubber flip-flops.
“Get a workout while you walk.”
What primarily attracted me to these FitFlops is the promise of the workout. They should trim your legs, increase *gluteal* muscle response, improve your balance and posture, burn calories… Not sure about all those claims, but I guarantee they will make your calves sore if you use them the entire day the first time you try them. Use them “progressively” they warn, because your muscles need to get used to the new way they are being exercised while you walk.
