De Boles Pasta Organic Spinach Spaghetti
My favorite Italian pasta ~ delicious and healthful ~
No store-bought dry pasta could be better than De Boles spaghetti-style pasta. It’s USDA organic and made with Jerusalem artichoke flour. The texture is perfect after boiling for just about seven minutes. Plus, the individual noodles aren’t as fat as regular spaghetti but definitely not thin like angel hair — they’re of a “daintily” right diameter.
Each 8-oz (226-gram) box contains four servings of 210 calories and 43 grams of carbohydrates each. No trans fat, as there are just three ingredients, all certified organic — durum semolina, spinach powder and jerusalem artichoke flour.
The cheapest I’ve found it at retail is $2.29 at Erewhon Natural Foods Store in Los Angeles.
