Bumble Bee Pink Salmon, Alaska Wild

Knowing that the shelf life of canned salmon is five years, I stock up on 14.75-oz cans of Bumblebeee pink salmon whenever they’re on sale at the local store (99 cents).

The two brands of canned salmon that I usually find available on sale are Icy Point and Bumble Bee. Once you’ve opened the can, you can’t tell them apart. Must be the same supplier of pink salmon caught wild in Alaska.

It’s one salmon stuffed into a can with its backbone intact but cooked, and the only other ingredient added to it is salt. The taste and texture are fine, especially considering it’s fish out of a can. For something fancier, try Bumble Bee Alaska Sockeye Red Salmon, 7.5 ounces.
