ANZAC DAY
ANZAC stands for the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps.
Every year on April 25, the ANZAC soldiers who fought at Gallipoli in Turkey during World War I are remembered not only in Australia and New Zealand, but also in the Cook Islands, Niue, Samoa and Tonga.
