Choice Music is a small, quiet store inside Koreatown Galleria with good prices on a vast selection of Kpop CDs and Kdrama DVDs. They also sell posters, lightsticks pens and other merchandise featuring popular Korean stars.

The establishment of an SMTown Museum in Los Angeles was announced in 2013, with the building being purchased in July. The space was formerly occupied by the Orchid Club on the southwest corner of 6th Street & Oxford Avenue, a few steps away from the CVS, the Metro subway station, and the Madang Mall.

December 2018: Christmas trees available for sale inside and by the parking entrance on Western Avenue. This is the Ralphs by the Wiltern Theater on Western Avenue, just south of Wilshire Boulevard. You can enter via Western Avenue or Oxford Avenue.

This Purple Line metro station is named after the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard and Western Avenue (the subway is on the northeast corner) and in 2013, after Alfred Hoyun Song, the first Asian-American politician to be elected as state senator to the California State Assembly.

Located at the intersection of Wilshire and Western, the Wiltern Theatre and Pellissier Building is an Art Deco building decorated with blue-green terra cotta tiles. It was originally built in 1931, called the Warner Brothers Western Theater, and was designed as a vaudeville theater. Today, the Wiltern serves as a live-performance venue, hosting concerts and comedy shows.
