ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 24, 2019, UNIFIED YOUNG ARMENIANS (UYA) WILL ONCE AGAIN ORGANIZE THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE COMMEMORATION EVENT IN LITTLE ARMENIA, HOLLYWOOD.
The March for Justice, as for the past 19 years, will begin at 10:00 am at the Armenian Genocide Martyr’s Square at the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Western Avenue, in City of Los Angeles.
The event is expected to be attended by tens of thousands of community members, community and religious leaders, human rights activists, high-ranking politicians, as well as local, state, and federal government officials.
UYA is a non-partisan, non-religious, and a non-profit grassroots youth organization headquartered in Southern California. Its goal is to unify the community, encourage activism among the Armenian youth, as well as to advocate for justice and human rights.
